Escape

I have been laying awake at night, perhaps unnecessarily, worrying about ‘problems’. These aren’t problems in the grand scheme of things, but we are all guilty of getting hung up on work, money, relationships etc. It’s good to escape and give yourself space to breathe.

ISO 640. Bit of grain because I underexposed in camera but adjusted in Aperture. I’m rolling with it.

  1. Embrace the grain Ashley. Nothing wrong with a bit of noise 🙂 Beautiful shot. I like the restraint in the retouch. I always have a tendency to want to auto contrast every shot.

I agree on the need to escape. Work can be hard to let go, but it is absolutely necessary to get it back in perspective every now and then.

Fantastic interview for Industry Conf btw. Such a brave and honest interview. Well done 🙂

I wish we only had views like this where I live…smack dab in the middle of the US, flat country, Nebraska 😉 Always take a moment to be grateful for this. I’d love to just drive/walk somewhere and see this kind of scenery. I love your photos and all the different aspects of your perspective of where you’re from and your friends (as well as your coffee shop adventures).

    Keep on.

I am glad you are enjoying my adventures! Yes, I’m very lucky to have these views only a short drive away. I do appreciate it, but imagine Nebraska is also very beautiful.

  3. Amazing pic Ashley, where is it taken? I don’t think people in this country appreciate how beautiful Scotland is.
