A couple of years back, I invested in a Nespresso machine. I was struggling to get out of bed (bed is good), and wanted a coffee machine that produced such excellent coffee, I’d be excited about getting out of bed in the morning. Now I’ve come to think Nespresso tastes like glorified instant. The real deal is my AeroPress, which cost a measly 20 bucks. I’ve been going to my local espresso bar, who roast their own beans, for a top-up. Today they recommended Ethiopia Tchembe based on the fact I drink my coffee black. It tastes just as good as it smells.
