I published this post yesterday and then my site got hacked. I can’t remember what I wrote, but the gist of it was: breakfast at Kelvingrove Cafe was good.
Indie and I are wishing you all a happy new year from Glasgow in Scotland. I promise to take more photos in 2017. My blog is feeling a little neglected, but it’s purely because I’ve been focusing on building Jack. Photography is still important to me. I hope you have a creative year ahead!
Chad and Scott booked a week in Warsaw, Poland and I invited myself along for the weekend. Wanting to get away for a winter adventure, Warsaw was perfect for mulled wine, 2-for-1 hotdogs, card games and history.
I didn’t have a bad meal or coffee in this city. I also played my first game of Jenga.
This is Hal. Do yourself a favour and check out his Instagram. He’s just moved to Glasgow from down South.
One of my good friends invited me to Oyster Happy Hour at Hutchesons. I got to witness Ayden trying oysters for the first time, so I couldn’t decline such an invitation. I like oysters, and Hutchesons delivered both in terms of presentation and taste. (And price as it’s £1 per oyster during happy hour.)
We washed ’em down with cocktails. An amaretto sour and parma violet, to be specific. 10/10, will be back.
I love Sheffield! My mum’s boyfriend lives there, so I feel quite at home when I visit. Years ago I was told Sheffield didn’t have any good coffee places. I’m not sure when Tamper popped up, but it’s really, really great.
Ryan’s band have have used my photo as the cover of their new album. As payment I asked him to treat me to lunch. That’s right, food > money.
We checked out Prep Fitness Kitchen, which is one of the few healthy eateries popping up in Glasgow. I had bulletproof coffee and a chicken wrap. That was probably the tastiest bulletproof coffee I’ve had.
