Ella

What a great weekend I’ve had, totally lowkey and very relaxing. I feel energised and ready for work tomorrow!

I finished my weekend off with a walk through Kelvingrove Park with Sheryl and her pug, Ella. The rain had cleared up and there was a pleasant autumnal chill in the air… if you know what I mean. You know what I mean, right? I think this is my favourite time of the year, and I’m so glad to be back in the city for it.

Floating Pug

Here is my friend’s pug, Ella, floating in the air and stuff. I’ve photographed her before, both on this blog and on Flickr. My mum is looking after her for the next few days while my friend does that wee thing called getting married (I’m a bridesmaid).

West End Festival

Unbeknownst to me, today was the West End festival held in Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Park. I had arranged to meet my friend there to walk our dogs, but it turned out to be a bit of a nightmare for dog walking because of how busy it was. On the other hand, I had struck gold with my camera as I love nothing more than being unleashed upon an unsuspecting crowd with my 135mm. With that said, I didn’t get to do much ninja snapping with a dog as demanding as mine, but it looks like the festival returns to Kelvingrove Park later in the month with cinema screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Raiders Of The Lost Ark. Amazing!

Pug in the park

So now I’m a fully fledged city girl, my biggest concern has been my dog and where to walk her. Prior to living in Glasgow, she was surrounded by beaches and woodlands (in other words, every dog’s dream). In the city, she’s surrounded by industrial estates and motorways. Luckily for me, I have a great friend who owns a pug, Ella, and showed me a nearby park, resulting in this post — pug in the park!
