Another Year of Glasgow Coffee Festival

This was my third year attending Glasgow Coffee Festival. You can see photos from the last 2 years here and here. In some respects it was better than other years (they introduced reusable cups, which in turn saved a grand total of 18,000+ disposable cups). The only disappointment was that no dogs were allowed this year (ignore those photos of Indie—she is an emotional support dog).

I ate cake, drank coffee and chatted to suppliers about the businesses they’re building and coffee they’re roasting. Just like last year, Rab and I had photographed a wedding the day before so we needed caffeine to recover.

Glasgow Coffee Festival 2017

Glasgow Coffee Festival returned for another year. Rab and I went on the Sunday as we had a wedding on Saturday. I’m always tired the day after a wedding as it’s both physically and mentally demanding, so coffee was definitely needed!

We complimented our flat white with cakes from CakeSmiths, then washed it down with #rawsoda. We also saw a lot of cute dogs.

Glasgow Coffee Festival

After missing it last year, I was eager to attend Glasgow Coffee Festival and sample a lot of caffeine. I’m not as tough as I had thought—3 coffees and I was in desperate need of some water. I had two long blacks from Riverhill Coffee Bar and Terrone, and a flat white from Meadow Road. Oh, and carrot cake.

It was the perfect autumn day.
