I set my alarm for the unthinkable hour of 5AM, but we had to chase the good light. Armed with coffee in flasks and half a dozen cameras, we road tripped to the Scottish Highlands while everyone else was still in bed. It was worth the 5AM rise.

How fortunate you are to have such landscape nearby! Gorgeous photos. Takes me back to when I was up in the highlands last summer. #8 is my favourite of the bunch – the peace and quiet one must get when in a house with no neighbours like that. Wonderful.
